Kuwait is a country that is located in the Middle East on the Arabian Peninsula sharing its borders with Iraq and Saudi Arabia. The area has been inhabited since ancient times, and the nation was first formed as a state in 1961. The population is about 4 million people, with an ethnically diverse makeup.

The climate is hot, often reaching into the 90s Fahrenheit. There are two seasons: winter, which lasts from October to February and has cooler temperatures, and summer, which lasts from March to September and has warmer temperatures. The terrain consists mostly of desert with some mountains along the border with Iraq.

The capital of Kuwait is Kuwait City and it’s one of the largest cities in the world. It’s home to many historic buildings including mosques and palaces. There are also several UNESCO World Heritage sites nearby including minarets at Al-Jahra Fort Ruins of Failaka Island Archaeological Site. This island was once inhabited by Greeks; now it’s uninhabited but there are still ruins left over from their time there that can be seen today if one visits these sites on foot or by boat (which are available for rent).
